Custom Laser Engraved/Etched Slate Plaque/Cheese Platter

Materials & Specs:

Approximately 8x12” inches in size.

Natural 100% real Slate stone

Each piece comes with rubber feet to protect your surfaces.

Due to the nature of the slate, the edges and surfaces will vary from piece to piece.

Care Instructions:
General Cleaning: NEVER place your Slate in the dishwasher. ALWAYS hand-wash (and soak if necessary) the slate in warm, soapy water.

Unsealed: Wipe your unsealed coasters with food safe oil before use. Food safe oils are products like mineral oil (butcher block oil), coconut oil (must be refractionated!), tung oil, linseed oil, etc. These types of oils will not go rancid, which would lead to some unpleasant smells coming from your housewares. Don't use olive oil, avocado oil, motor oil, etc!

Lacquer: If scratches, or other blemishes from normal are seen on the finished surface, gently wiping the surface with a lint free cloth dampened with lacquer thinner may be enough to remove surface scratches and other light blemishes. If deeper damage is observed, sanding the surface with a fine sanding sponge and spraying a light coat of clear coat lacquer is all that is required for refinishing.

Each of our pieces are custom and we do not keep back stock at this time, please allow at least 7-10 business days for your order to be shipped BUT, if you need it quicker, please state in the order notes and we will work with you to deliver the item sooner.

Additional Terms and Conditions:
"Free design work" is defined as the development of a raw, original, single design by Ockey Design, and is limited to one such free image per order. Customer-supplied images do not have any restrictions or limitations.

For orders involving multiple, individual customer-provided designs, the following policies may apply:

Customers who wish to purchase multiple custom items, with individual graphic designs MAY be ineligible to receive bulk and set pricing discounts.

Eligibility will be determined on a case by case basis, once customer-provided designs have been submitted to Ockey Design for initial review.

We encourage interested customers who wish to purchase multiple custom items with multiple, individual designs to contact us first, prior to making their purchase, and submit their design files and/or ideas for review.
